(HealthDay)– Grownups with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)have a greater occurrence of migraine or extreme headache, according to a study released online March 23 in Headache: The Journal of Head and Face Discomfort.

Yong Liu, M.D., from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Avoidance in Atlanta, and colleagues examined information from 60,436 U.S. grownups aged 18 years and older participating in the 2015 and 2016 National Health Interview Survey. The connection between IBD status and migraine or severe headache was taken a look at and stratified by levels of picked qualities.
